When a full re-roof is the right call

If the covering is sound and the issue is isolated, such as a few slipped tiles or a worn section of flashing, a straightforward roof repair is usually the sensible, cost-effective choice. A complete re-roof becomes worthwhile when problems are widespread: failing or porous tiles across large areas, sagging timbers, perished underfelt, repeated leaks in different places, or a covering simply at the end of its life. Our re-roofing process

We keep the job clear and predictable from the first visit to the final tidy. Every project starts with a free, no-obligation survey, and we send photos of the problem so you can see exactly what we have found.

• Free survey and quote with photos and a transparent written breakdown
• Scaffolding arranged, erected and inspected by us, with all health and safety and contracts handled in-house
• Strip and prepare the old covering, then fit new breathable felt and treated battens
• Lay the new covering, renew ridges, valleys and flashings, and reseal around chimneys and skylights
• Timescale and clean-up: a typical domestic re-roof takes a few days to around a week depending on size and weather, and we clear all waste before we leave

Materials we work with

We install clay and concrete tiles, natural slate and fibre-cement slate, matching the look of your property and the local area where it matters. We are happy to advise on the trade-offs between appearance, weight, longevity and budget so you can choose with confidence.
